What we collect
Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name if given, and the content of your message. The contact composer on our site runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit anything to us.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, to keep the site secure and working.
Browser storage. We may store small preferences in your browser's local storage, described on our Cookies page.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use emails to reply to you, based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We use server logs for security and fault-finding, also on the basis of legitimate interests. Any optional cookies are used only with your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are typically retained for no longer than 30 days.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host our site and email, under contracts requiring them to protect it, or where the law requires us to.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
